The Easy Flex device allows for a unique combination of full control of the rearfoot without controlling the midfoot. The thin polypropylene frame allows for full compression and arch rebound with every stride, providing a more dynamic range of motion than typically allowed by an orthotic. The flexible frame is combined with Myolite arch fill for maximum shock absorption. This device reduces pressure on the arch and can be ideal for patients who can’t tolerate the corrective pressures of more traditional orthotics. The rebound effect of the arch still generates a neutral foot alignment, making this a more functional option for these patients than more cushioned accommodative devices. This device is ideal for active, middle-aged patients requiring minimal biomechanical control and its best in athletic shoes with removable insoles. The Easy Flex is constructed with a positive model of the patient's foot and can be modified at the practitioner's discretion.
